Check out www.AAMDS.org for Communities of Hope.
Call the Patient Educator. She can help you find others similar to you. She also has loads of information.

There's a list of Support Groups and Communities of Hope at Marrowforums too, but I don't see one near Springfield or the neighboring cities.
You could ask Barnes Hospital if they know of support group among patients being treated there. The Community of Hope in Chicago is focused on MDS. |

You might want to check out some of the Facebook groups for AA.
