Vidaza: length of interval between cycles?

I have just completed my 19th cycle of IV Vidaza and have not needed a transfusion for a year. My hematologists favor continuing the drug as long as it works, but are reluctant to approve a longer interval (currently 3 weeks) between cycles. My personal observations indicate that 4 or 5 weeks between cycles (as at holiday times or when I have been away on a trip) is perhaps even more efficacious.

This question came up at a couple of the Webinars, and I think two of the doctors indicated they were trying such an approach. Has anyone had experience with a longer "rest period" between cycles of Vidaza?
