Thumbs up Vidaza soon in EU

Hi all members from EU,
At last the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) has adoptes a positive oppinion of Vidaza ! Now the European Commission will have to approve the drug - it will take 2-3 months and then the different states have to allow Vidaza. We are four years after the US !!!

vidaza in EU

Hi Ruth,
Thank you for the kind words ! You know in Sweden we have been able to get Vidaza on license but only sc - soon we can get it iv too. I am still asymptomatic but when my counts get worse I will try Vidaza and perhaps one of the histone deacetylase inhibitors like Zolinza.
Kind regards
Birgitta-A
