My Blog - Shameless Self Promotion

Hi Everyone! I would like to take this opportunity to direct anyone who might be interested to my blog (www.aplasticanemiablog.com). I am a writer and have been attempting to create a realistic, but positive account of my experience with Aplastic Anemia. My goal is to help anyone who is affected by bone marrow failure diseases find a voice in the dark and a friend who understands the highs and lows of this Dis-Ease. Thank you!!

You and your cat Basil write well. I hope you'll be able to keep up your journal and participate here during your transplant, and that your treatment will have a positive outcome to match your positive outlook.

Your selection of photos and captions is great.

Please tell me you get paid for writing.......
If you don't, you should!

Great Blog! Almost makes me want AA instead of MDS....but based on today's info, if I keep taking the Bactrim my Dr prescribed, I just might!

Hi Katherine,

Really enjoyed your blog - thanks for the link. You're a terrific writer, as is Basil. I've added a link from my blog to yours.

Best of luck with your transplant!

Karen

I have just updated with a new post in which I discuss my decision to cut off all my hair in preparation for my chemo and BMT. Thanks!

You really express so well how important it is to keep some control. I really really love your new look. I hope it grows (okay, a little pun intended ) on you.

Nearly done with my pre-treatment regimen. Can't wait for it to be over. More details in my blog.
