Eltrombopag for low platelets will perhaps be approved June 19
Hi all,
One of the new drugs for low platelets - Eltrombopag/Promacta/Revolade - will perhaps be approved by FDA June 19 . The drug will be approved for Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura but it has been in trials för low platelets for interferon treatment (that can give low platelets) in patients with hepatitis and for patients with treatment for sarcoma with low platelets as an adverse effect. http://www.londonstockexchange.com/L...05&source=NEWS Kind regards Birgitta-A 69 yo, MDS Interm-1 dx May 2006, transfusion dependent, Desferal 4 days with transfusion, Neupogen 2 injections/week, waiting for Eltrombopag to be approved so I dare try Vidaza and perhaps Zolinza |
