The 9th annual Los Angeles March for Marrow 5K Run & Walk, a fundraising and awareness event to benefit the AAMDSIF, will take place on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Shoreline Village in Long Beach, CA, with the Queen Mary and the beautiful marina in full view. It will be a day of fun connecting with fellow patients and families.

The event will include:

• March for Marrow Walk
• March for Marrow 5K Run
• Group photo
• Team photos
• Silent auction
• Inspirational speakers
• Awards
• Moment of Remembrance
• Art projects for kids
• Music
• Be The Match marrow donor signups
• Lunch and refreshments

Please help spread the word about this annual fundraiser. You are welcome to register and attend March for Marrow as well.

100% of all donations through Team Marrowforums go directly to the AAMDSIF.


Information

We will walk or run along the scenic marina in Shoreline Village. Walkers can choose either the 1-mile or 2-mile route.

Onsite registration begins at 6:30am for the 5K Run and 8:15am for the Walk. The 5K Run starts at 8:00am. The program will begin at 8:00am and the Walk will begin at 10:00am.

The Walk registration fee is $30 for adults and $20 for age 14 and under. 5K Run registration is also $30 for adults and $20 for age 14 and under. You can register for both events for $40 -- $20 off!

The Los Angeles 2018 March for Marrow 5K Run & Walk is this coming Saturday.

Forecasters predict a sunny day with a high of about 70 degrees. Photo ops in front of the Queen Mary should be perfect.

We'd love to have you join the fun in person, but you can also support the walk without attending.

The Los Angeles 2018 March for Marrow raised about $38,000 for the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation.

Walk and 5K run registrations, team fundraising, donations, sponsorships, the silent auction, and our first-ever poker game all contributed to the total.

Team Marrowforums raised $1,637.45.
