The MDS Beacon
I just have to share with you that I read some very interesting articles that I received by email yesterday from the MDS Beacon. (www.mdsbeacon.com/news).
One concerns an increased risk factor if patient previously had a history of infection or an autoimmune disease. ( I had been asking my drs. this since I was diagnosed and they said no relation) Another article said that a young non- related donor for an alleogenic transplant may have a better outcome than an older related donor. Pretty interesting Donna
