NPR Airs Story about Aplastic Anemia Patient

Today during its All Things Considered program, National Public Radio aired a story under the title "Radio Rookies: Teen Probes His Childhood Illness".

Edward Llanos of Queens, New York, was 12 years old when he was diagnosed with aplastic anemia. One of his brothers was a match for a bone marrow transplant. Edward is now a healthy 18-year-old and interviewed his family about his illness. He discovered that his parents and brothers are still affected by his illness.
