is transplan an option for My mom

My mom is 67years old, look and feel like 60.. but she is diabetic for more than 12years under insulin. three of her sister possible match and we are getting them ready.
Mom is high risk MDS 17% blast. never had any transfusion, blood stable and normal cytogenetic still. not on treatement yet. Dr checking CBCs weekly and every 3months BMs .

she is not to happy with the idea of transplant, she looks and feel good and is very activate. i would like her to have transplant but worry about transplant risk.

Does anyone know someone that had a transplant been diabetic?
what should I expect if my mom decide to go to transplant, I'm trying to convince here about it but don;t want to puch to hard in case something goes wrong..
I don;t know what to do ..
