Vidaza
Is it Vidaza you do before a SCT? or another hard chemo ?? What type of chemo treatment has everyone done before a SCT ? And I heard 10 days for sure you feel like CRAP

Vidaza is a often used prior to a SCT for high risk MDS. I will be having my 7th cycle of Vidaza getting ready for a SCT. People react differently. It didn't bother me much and didn't prevent normal activities. The Vidaza got my blood counts back to normal.

age 70, dx RAEB-2 on 11-26-2013 w/11% blasts. 8 cycles Vidaza 3w/Revlimid. SCT 8/15/2014, relapsed@Day+210 (AML). Now(SCT-Day+1005). Prepping w/ 10 days Dacogen for DLI on 6/9/2017.

Hi bailie,
Today my daughters counts are pretty rock bottom when looking at her Neutrophils .1 and wbc .7 No gallbladder surgery for her on Mon. she did make her own hemoglobin 9.0 and platelets 280 ... Now we just sit back and pray her really important counts come back. I'm not sure what chemo will be used for Amy before a SCT I just know she will be in the hospital ... Prayers for you and all the doctors
