Free One-Day AA and MDS Conferences in New York, October 2010

The Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation (AA&MDSIF) and the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital will host a free one-day conference for AA and MDS patients and their family members on Saturday, October 16, 2010.


Living with Myelodysplastic Syndromes

Come learn the latest on the diagnosis and treatment of MDS from leading experts:
  • Dr. Steven Gore, Sydney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins University
  • Dr. Stephen Nimer, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
  • Dr. Gail Roboz, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center
  • Dr. Isabel Schuermeyer, Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute
Get your questions answered. Meet other patients. Learn about treatment options, how to talk to your doctor, and methods for maintaining emotional and physical health. Breakfast and lunch are included.
