Liver biopsy
Hi Janie,
You know that when your platelets are low the risk of bleeding is greater and it can be dangerous to perform liver biopsy. http://content.karger.com/ProdukteDB...oduktNr=223838 The enlargement of liver (and of spleen) can be due to MDS. I should not want to have a liver biopsy but I have had a MR examination of liver and heart to see if I had iron i these organs - I had no traces of iron. Kind regards Birgitta-A |
