Ozone Therapy
Hi Everyone
I have heard that Ozone/Oxygen Therapy is really great for cancer patients. Do any of you have any experience/advice on whether an MDS sufferer is able to go for Ozone/Oxygen treatment? Thanks Alison

Alison, daughter of Rod aged 61; Dx May 2007; was on Neupogen and Eprex Aug - Dec '07; Vidaza recommended 6 cycles starting Jan '08, only 5 cycles completed. Chemotherapy commenced: July '08 - Feb - '09. Cytarabine & Daunarubicin. Transfusion dependent.

Don't know, but I would love to know the answer to that too. Always wondered if it would help when I am tired and short of breath.

This is such a common misconception! Ozone is actually HARMFUL to the body!!!! It is the main component of smog. There is a big difference between the ozone in the atmosphere (classified as a pollutant), and the one in the troposphere more than 20k km away from the surface! That one makes up the ozone layer, that protects us from UV rays!
