Any good hematologist in Louisville, KY?
Hello,
I am new to the forum and this is my first post. My wife was diagnosed with moderate AA last year (prior to this, she was misdiagnosed with ITP for 10 years) with extremely low platelets (10k~20k). She has been seen by Dr. Roger Herzig at the U of L Brown cancer center for the past 6 months. Unfortunately, Dr. Herzig recently took a position with UK and will be moving to Lexington shortly. We do now know any other hematologist in town that are good. We saw someone at Norton recently but this doctor would not take her (he asked us to follow Dr. Herzig in Lexington). Is anyone else on this forum from Louisville? I would really appreciate it if you could share your experience with the hematologist in town. Thanks! Roger |

If you can go to this event, you might get some ideas from other patients.
Go anyway. These are great events for new (and old) patients. http://www.aamds.org/conference-even...ily-conference
