California 2023 March for Marrow 5K Run & Walk, April 29, 2023


The 14th annual Califirnia March for Marrow 5K Run & Walk, a fundraising and awareness event to benefit the Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation (AAMDSIF), will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Shoreline Village in Long Beach, CA, with the Queen Mary and the beautiful marina in full view. It will be a day of fun connecting with fellow patients and families.

The event will include:
  • March for Marrow Walk
  • March for Marrow 5K Run
  • Group photo
  • Team photos
  • Silent auction
  • Inspirational speakers
  • Awards
  • Moment of Remembrance
  • Art projects for kids
  • Music
  • Be The Match marrow donor signups
  • Vendor booths
  • Refreshments

Marrowforums members are invited to support the AA&MDSIF by donating to Team Marrowforums. Just click the DONATE button.

Please help spread the word about this annual fundraiser. You are welcome to register and attend March for Marrow as well.

100% of all donations through Team Marrowforums go directly to the AAMDSIF.


Information

We will walk or run along the scenic marina in Shoreline Village. Walkers can choose either the 1-mile or 2-mile route. Virtual runners or walkers are welcome to register as well.

5K Run: Onsite registration begins at 7:00am. The Run starts at 8:00am. Awards will be given at 9:00am. Prices: $35 for adults, $20 for students, $45 for both the Run and the Walk.

Walk: Onsite registration begins at 8:15am. The Walk begins at 9:45 after a group photo. Prices: $35 for adults, $20 for students, $15 age 6 to 13, donations accepted for age 0 to 5, $45 for both the Run and the Walk.

Silent auction: 9:00am to 11:00am. Please pick up the items you win at 11:15am.

These events are great!
I was at the one in The Woodlands Texas on April 1.

I have a team in LA. So donate to Team PRCA.
