Free "Living with Bone Marrow Failure Disease" Session in Tampa

A free session for patients and their families, called Living with Bone Marrow Failure Disease – from Diagnosis to Adjustment, will be held on November 14 in Tampa, Florida. Subjects covered will include quality of life, sleep habits, treatments, nutrition, and communication.

The speaker will be Joan Latsko, a nurse practitioner who has worked with bone marrow failure disease patients for more than 20 years.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to talk with Leigh Clark, AA&MDSIF Patient Educator, and Alice Houk, AA&MDSIF Director of Health Professional Programs.

When:
Saturday, November 14th, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Registration: 9:30 to 10:00 AM.
